XAVIER SPACE EXHIBITION - Drawing Week Students


Friends of the National Art School (FONAS) present the Xavier Art Space, St Vincent's Hospital Prize for NAS Drawing Week winners.

The exhibition features a collection of drawings taking inspiration from the site of Drawing Week, Cockatoo Island - a site of the industrial sublime, now left in silent animation as a museum to the Island's shipbuilding history. The four exhibiting artists will also be showing other drawing works.

FONAS provides invaluable support to the students, staff and graduates of the National Art School, promotes the continuation of the unique model of art education taught at the School, while also involving the broader community in the educational, historical and cultural pursuits of this important sector of the visual arts.
